Cowboy is having some problems the last couple of days. He had his coffee cup in his hand this morning and was headed to the front of the house. I asked him where he was going and he said he needed a handkerchief. I told him he was going the wrong way. They were in the bedroom in the drawer. He seemed confused but eventully turned around and went to the bedroom and got his hanky.
I gave him some cheese and crackers this afternoon and he wanted to know what it was. I told him and then he ate them.
He's been wandering around the house a lot and that is unusual. His mood is OK and he is eating so guess could be worse.
Yesterday he went into the bathroom and shaved without being encouraged to do so. He made a bit of a mess. That was also unusual.
We have pretty much stayed in the last couple of days. I have been working on my projects. Have about 30% of the picture wall done.
It is beginning to cool off a bit and I am looking forward to the patio extension being completed. It will have short walls and a gate and I can have Cowboy and the dog out there without worrying about them wandering off.
I went to book club on Thursday AM and to a ladies coffee Friday. Both were close to the house, just a few houses down and I stayed only a few minutes. It works out pretty well when it is 10AM and Cowboy is watching "The Price is Right".
He continues to wear his special shoes without complaint. Guess they must feel a lot better than his boots or there is no way he would be doing that. I am grateful. Not only was he having trouble with his feet getting corns and callouses but it is not easy to get them off of him and he can't do it himself anymore.
