Today was Cowboy's oldest daughters birthday. We had sent a card and a text and tonight we called her. They were out at dinner so it was a short call. Cowboy is rather indifferent about just about everything but continues to be pretty content.
We went this morning for our annual eye exam. We do them together. We both are fine, no changes.
Cowboy has a very mild beginning case of macular degeneration but there is little concern since it has not changed much since last year. He takes a lutein capsule every day at the opthamologists suggestion. I have the beginnings of cataracts but they are not yet affecting my vision. Overall a good report.
This afternoon Cowboy said "They haven't put Jason on the map". I didn't have a clue what he meant and when I asked him to explain. He got a little agitated and seemed frustrated that I didn't understand. He yelled it again. We don't know a Jason and we haven't been talking about maps and nothing was on the TV that related to it. I just said OK and went in and turned down the bed.
I can't recall if I have mentioned we are having the patio made a bit larger. That is happening this week. It will have a low wall and gate and I can have Cowboy out on the patio without worrying that he will fall down in the flowerbed. The dog can go out too. The weather is cooling off so it will be nice for both of them.
Tomorrow is my day out. I am going to get my toenails tidied up and a haircut and then make copies of a ton of music for the new piano player. Then on to the grocery store. ho, hum
