I called on Monday and made an appointment to have the microwave looked at. They were coming on Tuesday. Then when I got up Tuesday AM it was working fine so canceled the appointment. Must be one of those "right on the edge of failing" things. On Tuesday night he quit again and then on Wednesday morning was fine.
I don't know what went on this week. Seems to be a bit of a blur. Everything was fine. Meals got cooked, laundry got done and I got in some reading time.
Yesterday morning I took Cowboy with me to the grocery store. He didn't want to go but needed to get some things so off we went. We got inside and he already looked tired so I sat him down on a bench and ran around the store as quickly as I could.
Last night we went to a neighborhood picnic to celebrate the 4th. It was hot yesterday but there was a breeze and it wasn't bad at all. Had over 70 people there. Lots of food. Cowboy filled his own plate and ate it all. He got some of his food down the front of him but overall went pretty well. In no time at all he was ready to go. I think we were the first ones to leave.
Getting him out at all is getting harder and harder. He is very slow, unsteady and somewhat unwilling. He needs to be moving around and that is what works best but it is getting harder to accomplish.
Marsha is coming back tomorrow and I am glad. I really prefer her to anyone else they have ever sent. We changed the day because of the holiday. I am still on the hunt for things for the redecorating I have been doing so that should keep me busy tomorrow. Am thinking about getting some parsons chairs and covering them for the dining area. Not sure yet.
