Saturday was one of those rare days that I didn't get up til about 8:30. It was lovely. Even the dog stayed in bed. Cowboy didn't get up til 10. We had a late breakfast, we will call it brunch.
I called the kids Sunday. Talked to all but one of them. They now know that we are looking into getting Cowboy into the home fairly soon. There is sadness and some frustration because it wasn't planned for quite so soon. After thinking about having the private room I cannot imagine not going ahead to give him the best situation for him.
This morning we got up and took Cowboy to have blood drawn. Then I took him to McDonalds and then to CVS to pick up some things. I was going to go to the grocery for a couple of things but I just didn't want to worry with Cowboy.
This afternoon the band met and we played Christmas music for awhile and then had wine and appetizers. Very nice time. I made deviled eggs, chips and dip, meatballs and the others brought some food. I am still working on the wine.
We are going to try to go get Cowboy's VA medical records tomorrow.
It has turned really cold so I put the pansies and our succulents up close to the house. Am going to try to find something to cover them here in a bit.
Cowboy sat at the table with us and ate some of the food. It is serving as our supper.
