Got up this morning early to take the car in. There is a cold rain falling. The dog was not at all happy that I was leaving and just barked and whined something terrible.
Got the car done and went to get a breakfast sandwish at Mc Donald's and then made a trip to Hobby Lobby. I wasn't looking for anything in particular but spent an hour just wandering around. It was rather nice. Didn't buy a thing.
Went to the local music store and picked up a check for Cowboy's Fender guitar that I had left there on consigment a few months back. Netted $950. They have a viola on consignment that I would love to have. Messed around with it for a while and gave some thought to buying it but didn't do so. Am thinking about it. I think it might add a cool sound to our little band and I feel it is underpriced and could sell it later if didn't work out. Am going to think about it.
I found Cowboy's Seiko watch yesterday and was going to get a battery for it but the jewelry store was closed until after the holiday. The one I bought him needs some links removed and I don't know how to do that but was hoping to take him his Seiko and then get it sized and return it.
I got into a little bit a trouble with the home because I had allowed him to keep his wallet. I had removed everything that I thought mattered (military ID, social security and medicare, etc.) but had left his drivers license just to make him feel better about being stripped of all the things he normally carried.
He forgot about it and it went through the laundry at the home. They told me I should not have let him have it and to take it home. It had a whole $7.00 in it and nothing with his social security or anything but I apologized and brought it home, wet and limp and useless. I try to let him retain some amount of sense of self but it just doesn't work too well.
