I am falling behind again on my blogging.  Sorry about that.

I saw the Doctor on Friday about my hand.  It is just arthritis.  I was given a regimen of Alleve twice a day, a hot parafin bath every morning, a cream at night.  and then she said  "If it hurts just don't do it".  Well that doesn't work if someone wants to play the fiddle but will try to limit myself.   Of course, nearly everything hurts but I am going to try to follow the directions as much as possible.   If after 3 months this regimen hasn't helped then we will try shots.  If that doesn't work, then surgery (couldn't do that right now anyway while caring for Cowboy).  I have high hopes we can get it feeling better without that kind of thing.

There was a neighborhood party Sunday night.  We had 83 people there.  It was probably the nicest party they have had.  I contributed by making dip and calling table numbers.  Cowboy sat in a corner and enjoyed lots of folks coming over and talking to him.  He ate a good meal too.

Am going around with the  VA pay office about our receiving a check rather than direct deposit.  The government will no longer issue checks after March.  Of course, they messed up and started sending them in the first place.  Sat on hold for about 20 minutes and then was referred to a different number.  Every time I called it I got the message about being in the que but then I would get cut off.  Happened three times.  Guess will try later in the week.

Tonight was Bunco.  The friend who hosted it this month sent her hubby over to our house and we ordered Cowboy and Jack a pizza. 

The VA home calledlate today and asked me to get Cowboy's medical records and a summary report from the doctor and send it to them.   Will try to get into that tomorrow.

Time for bed.
